suckamynutssss

well, it's 2:12 am. I figure it's about time to update this pile of shit.

First of all, schools out. Fuck yes. I ended up with a 4.0, two 3.5's, and an incomplete (taking an exam in the fall). I fucking rock major amounts of ass. Possibly made dean's list as well. WTTTTTTTTTTTTTF N00bs. So yeah, that's taken care of. 2 years (hopefully) or so left @ MSU.

Second, my 2 weeks of vacaction have been going alright so far. I've been sleeping in and looking for jobs. So far, nothing solid though.. hopefully I'll score a job at best buy or circut city. Fingers crossed for anything really though.

Thirdly, I've been hanging out at the 7-5/6 lately. It's been a pretty cool time. Met some folk, and started playing MOTG with rei. It's good to be back.

Finally, I'd just like to mention that I went to AA with rei last night. Hung out with jess and mike. We bought 12 40's.. and consumed them all somehow. I also met some cool people. All around, good times. Very glad I made the trip.

ps. I was able to work out a deal with my sis for her acoustic guitar. fuck yes. now I just need to learn how to play...

Anyway, g'night everyone,

T that D..

well, it's about time for me to update this shit-ass journal, so I guess I'll do it now. But where to begin? So many things have happened since I left for Florida :) Eh, I'll try my best to sum up some good things.

First and foremost, I'm now running @ 3.5 ghz, rather than 3.4ghz. What's that? I'm awesome? Yup, you're right.

Secondly, spring break was nice. Lots of sleeping, meeting my mom for lunch, and playing games with my bro. Additionally, joe r. and i staged the biggest lan of all-time (among our friends) the friday before I went back. One word, 4 syables(sp? shutup). INCREDIBLE. 12 or so people showed up, computers in hand, and taped glasses, uh, also in hand. We played some killer games of UT2k4, Warcraft III Frozen Throne, and Halo. So damn fun, I can't wait to do it again this summer.

Thirdly, my birthday (same day a shaq's, march 6) also fell within MSU's spring break, which was convenient. I'm a massive 20 years old now. One more year until I can start paying 4$ a beer at bars. Yippeeee!

Quadly, with the cash I got from my parents as a gift, I purchased an xbox, and modded the hell out of it with andy's help (thanks again boo). We soldered an xecuter 2.3 pro modchip, and installed a maxtor 160 gb hdd inside. Now I can copy games and movies to xbox harddrive and watch 'em on the tele. It's damn sweet. Everyone my hall here at case is drooling. Oh, and I ganked (borrowed the game from a kid down the hall, put in it the xbox dvd rom drive, and copied it to the hdd :D) the new Ninja Gaiden game. It easily one of the best action games I've ever played. I can't put it down.

Finally, as of now, the semester has been going pretty well. I'm doing expectionally well in CSE, and mid to low 3 ranging the rest of my 3 classes. Well, at least two of them. IAH 221a (greek tradegy, epics, history) is pretty shitty. I refuse to do the reading, and have several writing assignments that require one to do the reading to succeed. UH OH! Eh, fuck it. Well, that and Pelicans. Fucking birds.

Soo, I guess that's about it. I'm heading to Ann Arbor (with rob?) the weekend of April 3/4/5 to see Ben Folds and visit some friends and family, should be a nice time. S'bout it d00ds.

lates,

~Joseph

So, I away I go...

Yup, so I'm leaving for Florida tomorrow, and before I go, I'll hit y'all with a quick update.

First and foremost, I now have a cell phone. If I don't hate you, feel free to give me a call. Ask Kelly or Sean for the number.

Second, the break so far has been going well. Got the new computer built, and she's runnin' like a dream. Here's some specs.. (someone cares, right? maybe? no?)

p4 3.4 (oc'ed from 2.8) w/ hyperthreading
2x512m pc4200 DDR
Radeon 9800 Pro
Abit IS7 Motherboard
Coolermaster ATC 201 Case **Brushed Aluminum**
Soo... yeah.. I'm a nerd. Wanna fight about it?

Lastly, LOTR:ROTK was easily the best movie I've seen this year. Just about crapped 'em right good during the siege of Gondor. w00t.

Well, my plane leaves in 5 hours, I hope to see you soon. I'm back Jan 29 (night time). Feel free to give me a ring on the cizelliphizone.

w00t.

Yeah, well, I said I was going to update this piece of shit long ago, but never got around to it. So, because Raab keeps nagging me to do it, here ya are...

So, what's been happening the last month? Well, as usual, not much. I turned in my shitty research paper today and took my hardest exam, so it's down hill the last couple days i'm here. All I can say is that I'm dying to get back to Grand Rapids. Michigan State is rad in all, but the look of my room, and the lack of a decent computer is starting to make me sick. Right now, I really feel like hanging with my family and friends, sleeping in my old bed, and playing Warcraft with the Jamster and his friends. It seems when I'm home, I always enjoy myself, even if i'm not constantly being entertained. After being away so long at school and "maturing" somewhat, I guess I've really started to appreciate my family more. I miss the cats, the poodle, jess, jim, mom, and dad. Like most people it seems, I'm just really happy that this break is coming up.

These are the bulk of my thoughts at the moment, but i'd like to quickly note a couple more thangs. First of all, I'm beginnig to enjoy hanging with the dudes down the hall more and more. It is true that some are d-bags, but the majority, despite the highschool-like drama they seemed to be tangled up in, are cool guys. Second, Robin (Ray-dar's GF) after hearing rei and i play gameover on the piano, complimented me on voice. Though, this is a pretty small thing to note, the compliment put a smile on my face. Finally, I've decided that James Madison College may not be the thing for me, and I'm considering other tech-related majors. I'm thinking something computer-related. I can't be programming, and engineering isn't really an option for me. So... I'm actually thinking telecom (don't laugh :)

So, on that note, I guess I'll sign off. I hope to see all of you soon.

friday nights alone are awesome.

I could be doing something now, I really could be. Rather, I decided that sitting home watching the Pistons game was a better idea. The plan seemed utterely flawless until 11pm rolled around and the game ended. "Now wtf am I supposed to do?"

So, here I am. Friday night. Sitting at home. Hmm... maybe i should have made my way down to ms76 and chilled with rei. Well, at least I'm thinking about doing this at 3:40am. Well, off to Warcraft and Ramen noodles.

"i'm awake, i'm awake"

Well, it's tuesday morning, and I decided that it would probably be a good idea for me to stay up the entire night again. So here I am. 6:38 am. Waiting for my first and only class of the day to begin. I think I'll just list some of the high points of last weekend in no particular order:

-Kicking ass in a flip-cup tournament on thursday night. Nothing beats a 1 on 1 game of full-cup flip cup.

-Seeing Sean, Brad, and Mike. It's always good to see the old gang.

-Watching Scott be a hilarious jackass on friday.

-Tailgating @ 8am for the 'big game', only to pass-out just before the game started

-Newspaper sliding on the 3rd floor of Case Hall on Saturday night @ 3am. It hurts so badly, but feels just right.

-Taping pennies to andy's ass. No further explination is needed.

So, that should do it. Check y'allz.

Yeah, so it's 7:05am...

Well, tonight (this morning), I had the brilliant idea of staying up all night, so I wouldn't have to wake up for my early-ass class, the only one of the day. I think this might just work out. Or it won't, and I'll fall asleep in class. Either way, this proves it. I'm an idiot.

Oh, and even with the update, Itunes still sucks mad ass. Winamp5 'til I die.

Yeah, so it's about time to update this shit again.

Yeah, it's definetly about time to update this shit again. It's been far too long. So, to begin, I'd like to describe how I feel about the year thus far.

First of all, I'm finding that I'm feeling much better than I did last year. Last year, I really let my grades slide, and despite my 'relaxed' composure, I really wasn't satisfied with how everything was progressing. My grades were faultering, and I really wasn't accomplishing much, if anything at all. I also found it impossible to live with my roommate first semester. To be frank, he was an annoying jackass, and I found it near-impossible to get anything accomplished. At semester, he decided to move out with my shit-brained suite-mate, which was truly a godsend. But, being the idiot I was, I really didn't utelize my new-found freedom. Actually, now that I think about it, I did do something with the extra space. Throw parties. This effectively summed up the year as a whole. But on a lighter note, I did have some great times with the Rob, as well as the 2south gang. I also began to 'hang' with Pete Min and Aaron Smith more, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Indubitably, last year yielded some great times, but some poor grades. This year, I'm finding things are different.

To begin, the atmosphere is much more comfortable. My room is pretty awesome. I have my howell-brewed homo-erotic art strewn about, as well as a comfortable work space, and burbur carpeting, to top if off. Yes folks, burbur! Only the richest kings in Germany can afford this stuff (or the poorest college students). From this, I've decided that your room (as well as your as your hall, as sean noted), can really make or break your college experience. I thoroughly believe this. Also, my roommate is also a like-minded guy when in many respects. For starters, he's stall (score 1). Secondly, he also has a good sense of humor (score 2). To be honest, these two qualities are all you have to posess to impress me.

My grades, are another important subject of discussion for the 03-04 school year. I actually took the time to set some goals this year, and so far, they're paying off. It's looking like I'll be hitting 3 range this semester. To some, this may seem as a low goal, but to me, it seems like a nice round figure to set my sites on. I'm hoping to finish the semester, as well as the remaining school year on a happy note.

That's enough for now I guess. In the future, I'll try to update this more frequently. Also, I spell checked this, and I realize that there's like 1,000 errors. I'm just too lazy to change any of em.
